Baby's First Years

Twelve monthly chapters and five yearly ones, each deliberately short — two pages a parent can finish in one sitting. The front of the book covers the day they arrived, where their name came from, and who was waiting; there is a page for visitors to write to them directly.

Blank is the 52-page book set out below with the questions printed and the answer space empty, ready to write in — straight to checkout, nothing to design.

8.5 × 8.5 in (square)
Binding
Hardcover, photo-wrapped, from $49

Paper
80# coated white (about 118 gsm), gloss laminate on the cover. Coated stock: heavier and smoother, best for photographs. Fountain-pen ink sits wetter on it. Christmas delivery · Order by Sat, Dec 5 and free Standard delivery should reach a US address before Christmas (Fri, Dec 25). Estimated, not guaranteed — how we work out delivery.

Will it arrive in time?

Every book is printed after you order, so the wait is printing plus post. Put in a US ZIP and we'll estimate the date — before you build anything.

What each chapter holds

The same 3 pages repeat for every chapter, so the book stays consistent from the first to the last — which is the point of a year-by-year keepsake.

The chapters

Every label is editable, and you can add or remove chapters in the builder.

Before the chapters

The day you arrived

The facts, as far as anyone knows them. Fill in what you know and leave the rest.

Your name, and who was waiting

Where your name came from, and who was already on your side.

The week you arrived

What the rest of the world was doing that week.

From the people who came to meet you

Pass this around. Whoever held you first should go first.
